  1. Screener+

Performing the task

While the Screener+ task fundamentally involves monitoring alerts and determining appropriate action, the specific procedures differ slightly across the three organizations—Morningstar, Nirvana, and GAP—each with unique protocols and types of alerts. Here is a breakdown of these differences:

  1. Morningstar For Morningstar, the primary focus is on monitoring for smoke or fire events. Executives must stay vigilant for any such alerts on the Dragonfruit platform, as these situations require immediate action. If an alert indicates visible smoke or fire, executives are required to raise the alert directly within the Dragonfruit platform, where it is immediately registered and escalated according to Morningstar’s emergency protocol.

  2. Nirvana and GAP For both Nirvana and GAP, executives monitor for alerts related to potential burglary, theft, or other unauthorized access. When these types of alerts are triggered, executives must review the associated video clip carefully to assess if the alert warrants escalation. If an alert needs to be raised, rather than using the Dragonfruit platform, the executive must reach out directly to the General Manager (GM) of the respective store or to the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This communication ensures that local authorities or in-store personnel can respond to the incident immediately.
