Supervisor Responsibilities for Verification Task
Monitoring and Managing Ride Verification
Inactive Rides Tracking:
Regularly review ride schedules to identify rides under maintenance or otherwise inactive. Ensure such rides are excluded from verification workflows and must be conducted when on a day when ride is active.
Avoid Overloading Bandwidth:
Assign verification tasks across different parks when handling multiple rides in a day to prevent bandwidth and cloud storage issues on the Dragonfruit platform.
Quality Assurance
Deviation Handling:
Cross-check verification reports for accuracy. If intervals between actual and estimated wait times exceed two deviations, report the issue to the upper management and initiate re-recording of the ride.
Recalibrate rides only if deviations are confirmed to result from issues in the recording or estimation process. Prepare and send calibration reports to the customer when necessary.
Data Point Verification:
Ensure that each verification report includes at least 14 data points, capturing accurate entry and exit/load times. If this criterion is not met, direct employees to revisit the verification process.
Tracking Efficiency and Productivity
Regularly compare verification data points with the estimation task reports to validate consistency.
Use random checks to assess whether employees are adhering to the prescribed verification process, ensuring both accuracy and efficiency.
Provide feedback and training as needed to maintain high performance levels.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare a consolidated report summarizing the results of the verification process, highlighting any deviations, recalibrations, or unresolved issues.
Document discrepancies and communicate with customers promptly, providing screenshots and detailed explanations when required.
Track and log all verification tasks in the internal system to maintain transparency and accountability.
Coordination and Communication
Collaborate with the Estimation task team to address any gaps or inconsistencies in data.
Ensure clear communication with employees about task priorities, guidelines, and deadlines.
Escalate unresolved technical or procedural issues to upper management or the Dragonfruit support team as necessary through "SeaWorld Wait Times" Google chat channel.
