Performing the task
Step 1: Accessing a Job in the Task
Open the Task:
From the Tasks tab, locate the desired task and click the "Open" button to access it.
Select a Job:
Inside the task, you will see several jobs listed (e.g., Job#xxxx).
Click on a job to start the annotation process.
Step 2: Understanding the Job and Video Frames
Video Frames:
Each job contains a video broken down into individual frames for annotation.
You will work frame-by-frame to mark specific items based on the task instructions.
Current Annotation Tasks:
Smoke and Fire: Identify and annotate regions with visible smoke or fire.
Hand and Object: Annotate hands and the objects they interact with.
Safety Hat and Vest: Mark individuals wearing safety hats and vests, or note their absence.
People and Vehicle: Annotate people and vehicles, differentiating between the two categories.
Step 3: Using the Annotation Tool
Navigating Frames:
Press
F: Move to the next frame.Press
D: Move to the previous frame.
Annotating Items:
Press
N: Activate the rectangle tool for annotation.Draw a bounding box around the item based on the task's requirements.
Example: For Smoke and Fire, draw a rectangle over the visible smoke or flames in the frame.
Adjusting the Annotation:
After drawing, you can resize or move the bounding box to ensure it accurately covers the item.
Step 4: Completing the Job
Review all frames to ensure no relevant details are missed.
Save your progress regularly using the save button in the annotation tool.
Tips for Efficiency
Familiarize yourself with keyboard shortcuts to speed up navigation and annotation.
Cross-check the task instructions to ensure accurate annotations.
Use the zoom and pan tools for detailed annotations in complex frames.
