Calibration documents
Calibration Guidelines
Data and specific instructions on estimating wait times for each ride are provided in a detailed calibration document. There is a separate document for each of the 65 rides, outlining the unique guidelines and crowd thresholds for calculating wait times accurately.
Mandatory Reading
It is essential that every executive thoroughly studies these documents to fully understand the wait time instructions for each ride. Familiarity with these guidelines helps in making quick and precise estimations, preventing delays or guesswork during the task.
By mastering the calibration instructions, the executive can perform the task efficiently, ensuring the accurate and timely update of wait times.
1. Reporting Anomalies
Anomaly Detection: If any irregularities or issues arise during the estimation process—such as malfunctioning camera feeds, discrepancies in crowd size, or unexpected ride conditions—these anomalies must be reported immediately.
Escalation Protocol: Executives are required to notify their respective team leaders as soon as any anomaly is detected. Prompt reporting ensures that the issue can be addressed swiftly, minimizing disruptions in providing accurate wait times to park visitors.
Maintaining open communication with team leaders helps ensure the task is completed smoothly and without delay.
2. Access to calibration documents
The calibration documents are confidential and documented for OMS use only. Thus, new executives must request access to view the documents.
