The Angkor Wines & Liquor task involves configuring new cameras under a Base Station and mapping them accurately to the floor plan provided by the customer. This ensures that each camera is correctly registered, named, and placed in the right location with proper coverage. Below is the detailed workflow for Camera Configuration and Mapping.
Objective: Add and configure new cameras under a Base Station at the customer’s physical location.
Log into the system and access the Base Station for the required location.
Click on "Configure" → "Cameras".
Select the correct Location where the new camera is being installed.
Click "Enter Manually" to begin the camera addition process.
Click "Bulk Discover Cameras" to begin detecting available cameras.
Paste the Camera RTSP URL in the required field.
Click "Discover", and the system will list the detected cameras.
Select the required cameras from the list and click "Add Camera to Location".
Rename the camera based on its location for proper identification.
The newly added camera’s live feed should now be visible under the Base Station.
Once completed, the Base Station will appear under the Locations Tab.
Objective: Ensure that all cameras are mapped accurately to the customer's floor plan for better operational clarity.
Navigate to "Location" → "Base Station" → "Settings (Location Settings)" → "Maps".
Click on "Locations" and then select "Maps".
Go to "Floor Maps" and click "Add New Map".
Click "Choose Map" to upload the customer's floor plan (must be in PNG format).
Compare the floor plan with the actual camera viewing angles to understand coverage and positioning.
Click "Configure" to begin camera placement.
From the "Choose Camera" drop-down, select the correct camera corresponding to its location.
Ensure the camera and its location are mentioned correctly in the License page before adding.
Once the floor plan is uploaded, perform the following steps to finalize the mapping:
Paint the Floor – Define the area where the cameras will be placed.
Drop the Anchors – Assign camera positions based on customer specifications.
Refine the Model – Adjust the placement and angles to align with the actual coverage area.
Define Regions – Mark specific areas for monitoring, ensuring accurate representation on the floor plan.
Ensure all RTSP URLs are correctly entered and verified during camera configuration.
Confirm that cameras are renamed according to their exact location for proper identification.
Validate that the Base Station appears correctly under the Locations Tab after setup.
Oversee the floor mapping process, ensuring cameras match their physical locations and floor plan.
Ensure all mapping steps (floor painting, anchor dropping, model refining, and region defining) are completed as per requirements.
Verify that all camera licenses are properly configured before finalizing the setup.
