The Average Dwell Time task involves monitoring camera feeds to calculate the amount of time individuals spend in specific areas. This data helps measure customer behavior, such as time spent in different zones, for analytical purposes.
1. Log into the Dragonfruit AI Platform
Access the platform using your assigned credentials.
Select the organization for which the task is being performed (Sensormatic for this example).
2. Access the Required Camera Feed
Navigate to the Locations tab.
Select the specific camera mentioned in the Asana ticket.
Identify the cafeteria zones (Top Snack Area and Bottom Snack Area) as specified in the ticket.
3. Monitor Camera Feed
Follow the time range instructions provided in the Asana ticket.
Observe every person visible in the feed during the specified time range.
4. Document Entry and Exit
Entry Monitoring:
When a person enters the camera’s field of view, take a screenshot of their entry.
Record the entry time.
Note whether the individual is in the Top Snack Area or Bottom Snack Area.
Exit Monitoring:
When the same person exits the field of view, take a screenshot of their exit.
Record the exit time.
5. Calculate Dwell Time
For each person, calculate their dwell time:
Dwell Time = Exit Time - Entry Time
Note the dwell time for each person in the specified tracking sheet.
6. Compile the Data
Add all screenshots, along with the entry time, exit time, and dwell time, into the provided tracking sheet.
Ensure the data is properly categorized by Top Snack Area and Bottom Snack Area.
Document Completion: Verify that all data points are recorded accurately, including screenshots and times for each individual.
Submit to Asana: Once completed, upload the tracking sheet and screenshots as part of the Asana task update.
